Analysis of an Aluminum alloy notebook, 1942.

This is a school type notebook containing five pages of writings and two small b & w photographs. The entries are dated June 8, June 12 and June 24, 1942. The notebook details an experiment carried out by Schlinger on the alloy Tintex at the end of his sophomore year at Cal Tech.

Schlinger, Warren Gleason., 1923-

Warren G. Schinger was born in Los Angeles and earned his BS, Ms and PhD degrees from Cal Tech. He also taught there from 1949 through 1953 when he went to work for Texaco, where he stayed for the remainder of his career, rising from Chemical Engineer to Associate Director, Gasification. His areas of expertise were catalytic cracking, fluid bed technology and the recovery of oil from shale. From the description of Analysis of an Aluminum alloy notebook, 1942.
